If you came to Montrose for a burger, these are the six Cheers builds, each with crispy fries: the Classic, Queso Supreme, the Cheers Melt, Sweet Heat, Swiss Mushroom Onion, and BBQ Bacon Cheddar.
The Classic is $12. Choice of cheese on a grilled brioche bun, with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle upon request. Swiss, American, Havarti, mozzarella, cheddar or pepper jack — pick the cheese and keep the rest simple.
Queso Supreme is $15. Cheddar, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, an onion ring, pickles and garlic aioli, served in warm nacho cheese.
The Cheers Melt is $15. Cheddar, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles and spicy aioli, served between two grilled cheese sandwiches.
Sweet Heat is $14. Havarti, spicy candied bacon crumbles, jalapeno, onion straws and spicy aioli on grilled brioche. The heat is the jalapeno and the aioli. The sweetness is the candied bacon. The crunch is the onion straws.
Swiss, Mushroom, Onion is 13. Swiss, mushroom, and red onion on a grilled brioche bun, with crispy fries.
All six burgers are printed with crispy fries. The Classic is the choice-of-cheese build. Queso Supreme sits in warm nacho cheese. The Cheers Melt is stacked between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Sweet Heat brings jalapeno buffalo. Swiss, Mushroom, Onion is the 13. BBQ Bacon Cheddar finishes with pulled pork and onion straws. Cheese options are Swiss, American, Havarti, mozzarella, cheddar, or pepper jack.
Swaps stay short: an Impossible plant-based patty is $2 more, a gluten-free bun is $1 more, and fries come standard. Ask to swap the fries for tots, sweet potato fries, street corn or three-cheese mac, or add cheddar cheese sauce and bacon to the fries or tots.
A table that is not ready for a burger yet can open with crispy green beans, cheese curds, the quesadilla, a Bavarian pretzel, pickle chips, or potato skins, especially during Happy Hour, Monday through Friday, 2pm to 6pm, when those shareables are the marked plates.
Two people can cover different ground without repeating a cheese: the Classic with cheddar next to Swiss, Mushroom, Onion, or a Melt next to Sweet Heat. Add deep fried pickle chips or crispy green beans if the table wants something fried that is not a fry.
The Cheers Philly, the Turkey Carver, The Italian Classic and Irish Corned Beef are the sandwich and panini options for anyone at the table who does not want a burger. The Philly is shaved beef with sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers under melted provolone and mozzarella, finished with horseradish aioli and warm nacho cheese. All four come with fries, and the paninis come with coleslaw too.
Bacon shows up crispy on Queso Supreme, the Melt, and BBQ Bacon Cheddar, and candied and spicy on Sweet Heat. The Classic and Swiss, Mushroom, Onion skip it, so a table that wants one bacon burger and one without can order both from the six.
Spicy aioli shows up on Sweet Heat and the Melt. Garlic aioli is the milder one, on Queso Supreme. Swiss, Mushroom, Onion keeps the focus on mushroom and red onion.
The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is hand-breaded or grilled chicken with buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato, and mozzarella on a toasted brioche bun, and it comes with fries. The Cheers Cuban is pressed with smoked pork butt, honey ham, Swiss, and pickles. The Cheers Philly is shaved beef with peppers, onions, and warm nacho cheese. Any of them keeps a mixed table on one ticket.
The B.L.T. is bacon, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo on grilled deli Italian. Grilled Cheese is American and Havarti on deli Italian with marinara. Neither one replaces the six burgers; both keep a mixed table on one ticket.
The six burgers are 12, 13, 14, and 15. The current menu lists 2 dollars off any burger on Monday, and Service Industry Night runs that night from 9pm to 2:30am.
