Pull up a stool at Cheers in Montrose. The letters sit over picnic tables on Medina Road, and the room behind them is a bar and bistro for a plate, a drink at the rail, or a late last round. Coral walls, a wood bar, and high-tops share the floor with shareables, wings, and six burgers with crispy fries.
Start with lettuce wraps at 10, grilled chicken in romaine cups with peanut sauce and Thai chili, or Buffalo Chicken Dip at 9, melted mozzarella, provolone, and green onion with corn tortilla chips. Cheese curds are breaded Wisconsin curds with marinara. The quesadilla is 8.
Burgers all come with crispy fries. The Classic is 12 with a cheese of your choice on grilled brioche. Queso Supreme is 15, served in warm nacho cheese. The Cheers Melt is 15 between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Sweet Heat is 14. Swiss, Mushroom, Onion is 13. BBQ Bacon Cheddar is 15.
Wings are $9 for six and $17 for twelve. Buttermilk Bites are $8. Three chicken tenders are $14. Featured bowls, classic sandwiches, overstuffed paninis, salads and sides round out the list if a burger is not the plan.

Doors open at 11am and the bar stays open until 2:30am, every day. Happy Hour, Monday through Friday, 2pm to 6pm, is 2 dollars off selected apps and 50 cents off domestics. Marked shareables include crispy green beans, cheese curds, the quesadilla, deep fried pickle chips, potato skins, and the Bavarian pretzel.
