Searching for somewhere to eat or drink in Fairlawn and seeing Cheers is not a mistake. The bar is on the Montrose stretch of Medina Road, a short drive from the middle of Fairlawn and from Summit Mall, with a kitchen menu of burgers, wings, bowls and shareables and a bar that pours until 2:30am.
Inside is one open room. A dark wood bar with bottles and screens runs down one side; high-tops and dining tables fill the other, under a pressed-tin ceiling and a chandelier, with coral walls and a Cheers mug mural. It suits a weekday lunch, a drink after work, or a table late in the evening.
For a first order, three menu lines tell you most of what the kitchen does. The Classic is a $12 burger with the cheese you choose on grilled brioche, and it comes with crispy fries like every burger here. Bone-in wings are $9 for six or $17 for twelve in the sauce you pick. Soft Pretzels at $9 arrive with honey mustard and cheddar cheese sauce for the middle of the table.
Not everyone at the table wants a bun. Lettuce Wraps are $10: grilled chicken in romaine cups with peanut sauce. Queso Supreme is the $15 burger served in warm nacho cheese, for the person who does. Featured bowls, sandwiches, paninis and salads fill in the rest of the list.
Weekday afternoons have their own window. Happy Hour · Mon–Fri 2–6 means $2 off indicated items and 50¢ off domestics, and Cheese Curds, Potato Skins and Deep Fried Pickle Chips carry the happy-hour mark on the current menu.
