About the role

Cheers Bar & Bistro is a neighborhood bar and bistro in Montrose, easy to spot on Medina Road by the Cheers letters, neon, and picnic tables out front. The bartender pours drinks, runs the bar during service, and keeps the bar and dining room clean, at 3900 Medina Rd, Ste J, Akron, OH 44333.

What you will do

Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Execute craft cocktails with precision
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining room
Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
Follow all alcohol service and food safety guidelines

What you need

Previous serving or bartending experience preferred but not required
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout a shift
Must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
