About the role

Cheers Bar & Bistro, 3900 Medina Rd, Ste J, Akron, OH 44333, runs a kitchen built around Shareables, Wings & Things, and burgers. The Cook (Prep & Kitchen) handles prep, food safety, and presentation standards — a separate role from our Line Cook position.

What you will do

Prepare menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
Monitor hot and cold holding temperatures
Identify proper food handling procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup

What you need

Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Team-oriented attitude and positive work ethic
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
