About the role

Cheers Bar & Bistro is a neighborhood bar and bistro in Montrose, 3900 Medina Rd, Ste J, Akron, OH 44333. The server assistant (busser) supports servers, bartenders, and barbacks so tables turn quickly and the dining room stays clean and organized through every shift.

What you will do

Assist servers, bartenders, and barbacks with on-shift duties
Remove dishes and glassware from tables quickly and efficiently
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
Assist management, servers, and bartenders with on-shift tasks
Help keep the dining room clean, neat, and well maintained

What you need

No experience necessary — entry level
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Reliable transportation
Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and sharp tools
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
