About the role

Cheers Bar & Bistro, 3900 Medina Rd, Ste J, Akron, OH 44333, a neighborhood bar and bistro in Montrose, is led day-to-day by its General Manager — developing the FOH and BOH teams, controlling costs, and driving guest service and profitability.

What you will do

Lead and develop FOH and BOH teams
Hire, train, coach, and hold employees accountable
Manage scheduling, labor, and daily operations
Ensure excellent guest service and food quality
Control food, beverage, and labor costs
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health department standards
Manage inventory and ordering
Help drive sales and restaurant profitability

What you need

3+ years of restaurant management experience (General Manager preferred)
Full-service restaurant or bar experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cost control
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
